Since its opening in 2007, co-owners Kristin Alexander and Adrianne McNiff, have strived to offer great-tasting hot and cold beverages, homemade meals, pastries and desserts in a charming, cozy atmosphere. Our cafe is easily found on Highway 57 in historic downtown Mantorville, MN – only 13 miles from Rochester and 50 miles south of Minneapolis.

The County Seat Coffeehouse is known around the area as "Mantorville's Meeting Place" where various small groups meet weekly and friends get together for conversation and great food. When you stop at County Seat Coffeehouse you will be welcomed by the wonderful aromas and sight of homemade pies and "comfort" food.

Our inviting café offers something for everyone. Start your morning with a simple cup of gourmet black coffee, a seasonal latte or mocha to complement our fresh baked scones and pastries. If you prefer more traditional breakfast fare, choose something from our “served all day” breakfast menu.

Homemade soup with fresh bread is always a popular lunch choice at the County Seat Coffeehouse. You can also create your own lunch "combo" by choosing a sandwich to be paired with any soup or salad.

Be sure to save room for dessert; although it will be difficult to choose from an array of homemade award-winning pies, bread pudding, cakes or fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies!!!  All of our food, espresso drinks and desserts are made from the finest ingredients and our generous portions are sure to leave you feeling satisfied.
